A storage device (1) has a rotation mechanism section (30) provided in a forwardly open box (2), the rotation mechanism section (30) holding a storage body (10) so that the storage body (10) is rotatable about a vertical shaft (44), the storage body (10) storing an object to be stored. The rotation mechanism section comprises: a stationary rail (31) which is provided with a guide groove (32) open downward and forward and extending in the front-rear direction, has a guide body (35) provided to a holding section (34) protruding downward from the bottom surface of the guide groove, and is affixed to the top surface (3a) of the box; and a movable rail (40) which is movable in the front-rear direction along the guide groove in the stationary rail and which is connected to the storage body through the shaft. The movable rail is provided with left and right sidewalls (46, 47), a bottom wall (43), and a front end wall (45), which are provided so as to define a receiving groove (41) for receiving the guide body. The movable rail is also provided with a top wall (48) provided so as to form a slit-shaped opening (42) for receiving the holding section. |
