In the touch panel device and the operation method for same, according to the present invention, an entire scan is divided into a first can and a second scan such that a point of touch is distinguished. In the first scan, a plurality of transmission electrodes are formed as a group, and a signal is applied sequentially or simultaneously such that a first analysis location is distinguished. In the second scan, since a signal is sequentially or simultaneously applied to only the first analysis location, a plurality of sampling times can sufficiently be secured such that a second analysis location, which is the exact point of touch, can be distinguished. |
