A reservoir unit (5) of an adhesive composition (A) is formed upstream of a gap (4) which is provided in a coating device and through which a substrate film (10) is passed, and by passing the substrate film (10) through the gap (4), the adhesive composition (A) is coated onto one surface of the substrate film (10), producing a single adhesive layer tape (32) having an adhesive layer (31a). In this case, in the gap (4) through which the substrate film (10) passes, a stripe applying film (20) comprising multiple slits (21) arranged in parallel is arranged such that said slits (21) are arranged across the narrowest portion of the gap (4), and by passing the substrate film (10) through the gap (4), the adhesive composition (A) is applied to the substrate film (10) so as to form multiple rows of stripes, forming an adhesive layer (31a) in the form of multiple rows of stripes. Next, the thusly obtained single adhesive layer tape (32) is used to produce a double-sided adhesive tape (30A). By means of this method, a double-sided adhesive tape can be easily produced in which the adhesive layer is formed to have the shape of multiple rows of stripes. |
