PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a complex and a method thereof that form a shapable bone substitute material.SOLUTION: Provided is a scaffold for bone growth comprising nanocrystalline hydroxyapatite (HA), bioabsorbable plasticizer and biodegradable polymer; the plasticizer includes oleic acid, tocopherol, eugenol, 1,2,3-tri-acetoxy propane, monoolein and octyl-&bgr;-D-glucopyranoside; the polymer includes poly(caprolactone), poly(D,L-lactic acid) and poly (glycolide-co-lactide); also provided are a method for controlling the porosity, hardening speed and shapability, and a complex and a method thereof using the nanocrystalline HA formed with an accompanying amino acid or without it; and in addition, the scaffold for bone growth exhibits a high strength and a shapability. |
