PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the technical drawbacks related to the specific nature of welding of automotive lights.SOLUTION: A welding apparatus for making an automotive light comprises a container body having a first perimetral profile and the lenticular body having a second perimetral profile, which placed in contact with each other, define a welding interface 36 to be welded by means of the apparatus. The welding apparatus further comprises: a plurality of fibers 44, in which the container body acts as an absorbing element for the light beam and the lenticular body acts as a transmissive element of the light beam; and light guides 60, 60', 60" for changing the divergence of the portions of laser beams outgoing from the fibers 44, so as to collimate them overall along relative optical axes X-X, wherein the light guides 60, 60', 60" comprise an inlet which receives from the fibers the laser beam produced by the laser emitting device and an outlet which propagates/transmits the laser beam collimated by the guides. |
