PURPOSE:To correct a picture distortion by taking a mutual relative numeral between an outward scanning picture and an inward scanning picture and adding the secondary correction that finds a shift quantity until a position where the maximum value of the above is given on the primary correction. CONSTITUTION:Virtual grids are stretched against each of the outward scanning and the inward scanning by making coincident with a scene center. The virtual grid is stretched in a lateral direction keeping a necessary and enough space, but in a longitudinal direction, it is stretched so as to correspond one to one with the border of the outward and inward scanning. At the next, it is assumed that the grid on one side is set as a standard grid and the other as a reference one and the distortion quantity on each grid point found from a geometric model is set as the primary corrected quantity. Based upon the primary corrected quantity of the grid point, a position after the primary correction of picture of both outward scanning and inward scanning is found and a line element to keep a correlation from a line neighboring to the border of the outward scanning and the inward scanning is segmented to find the mutual correlative number between line elements. Thereby, a distortion correction factor to eliminate a picture dislocation due to a modeling error can be found, thereby obtaining a continuous correction picture. |
