Provided are a dual-view display and a manufacturing method and drive method thereof. The dual-view display comprises a colored film substrate (20) and an array substrate, arranged opposite to each other; one side of the colored film substrate (20) or the array substrate is provided with a slit grating (11); the colored film substrate (20) comprises a plurality of pixel cells (201), and a first black matrix (202) around each pixel cell (201). The slit grating (11) comprises light-blocking regions (112) and light-transmissive regions (111) arranged at intervals and in the form of a matrix. The dual-view display also comprises a light-shielding part (300) used for preventing light from escaping from the upper edge (A) and/or lower edge (B) of the light-transmissive regions (111), solving the problem of the viewing angle of a user of a dual-view display being limited.
