1. A touch panel substrate, comprising:
a first electrode layer; a second electrode layer; and an insulating layer, the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer facing each other so as to sandwich the insulating layer, the first electrode layer including a plurality of first electrodes which are arranged next to each other and each of which includes conductor lines in a net-like pattern, the second electrode layer including a plurality of second electrodes which are arranged next to each other and each of which includes conductor lines in a net-like pattern, the plurality of first electrodes each including, at a portion parallel to an outer edge of an adjacent second electrode, a plurality of first protrusions protruding toward the adjacent second electrode in a plan view, the plurality of first protrusions each having an intersection at which two conductor lines cross each other, the plurality of second electrodes each including, at a portion parallel to an outer edge of an adjacent first electrode, a plurality of second protrusions protruding toward the adjacent first electrode in a plan view, the plurality of second protrusions each having an intersection at which two conductor lines cross each other, the plurality of first electrodes and the plurality of second electrodes being placed in such a manner that the plurality of first protrusions and the plurality of second protrusions engage alternately with each other in a plan view. |
