Provided is a method for training a user's muscle by alternatingly repeating the following: a pressurizing and movement step (S30, S50, S70, S90) in which the blood flow in a muscle of the user is restricted without being stopped by wrapping a belt around at least one of the user's limbs and imparting a prescribed pressurizing force thereto, and the user is caused to perform a load movement for imparting a load of a prescribed weight to the muscle of the user; and a movement pause step (S40, S60, S80, S100) in which the performance of the load movement is paused while the imparting of the prescribed pressurizing force is continued. The prescribed weight is set to a value which is smaller than the maximum weight which is necessary to cause the user's maximum to be exerted. |
