PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure easiness in mounting a retainer and to then prevent the backlash of the retainer in a direction of rotation after the mounting.SOLUTION: A connector C includes a housing 20 and a retainer 50. The housing 20 includes a plurality of terminal housing chambers 25 in which a terminal fitting 10 connected to a terminal of a wire W is inserted from a rear side. The retainer 50 is formed from a main body plate 51 and a plurality of lock pieces 55. The main body plate 51 includes a plurality of wire insertion holes 52 and is abutted to a rear face of the housing 20 to prevent the terminal fitting 10 from coming off. The plurality of lock pieces 55 are formed while protruding from the circumference of the main body plate 51 and elastically locked to a lock part 42 which is provided on an outer peripheral surface 40A of a rear part of the housing 20. At hole edges of at least two wire insertion holes 52, fitting walls 62 are formed which are fitted into rear end portions 22A of the opposite terminal housing chambers 25 and at both sides of the locked part 42, a pair of guide ribs 47 are arranged for guiding the insertion of the lock pieces 55. |
