receiving a digital baseband signal; determining whether a power level of the received digital baseband signal exceeds a predetermined threshold; and if so,
placing the power amplifier in a high power back-off mode having a first power back-off factor; and if not,
placing the power amplifier in a normal mode having a second power back-off factor. |
