[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a current sensor which is capable, when using a plurality of magnetism detection units to detect current to be measured, of accurately determining a malfunction in a magnetism detection unit even if affected by an external magnetic field. [Solution] A first magnetism detection unit (23) and a second magnetism detection unit (25) which are disposed in positions in which S/N ratios match, said S/N ratios being the ratios of the strength (S) of a magnetic field that generates current to be measured which flows on a current path (4) to the strength (N) of an external magnetic field. If a detection signal (S43) from the first magnetism detection unit (23) and the second magnetism detection unit (25) (S45) are substantially matching, a processing unit (47) determines a normal operating state. If the detection signals (S43 and S45) are not matching, the processing unit (47) determines that either the first magnetism detection unit (23) or the second magnetism detection unit (25) is malfunctioning. |
