Disclosed are a coaxial cable and an apparatus for coating an insulator thereof. The coaxial cable according to the present invention comprises: a central conductor (110); and an insulator (120), an external conductor (130) and a jacket (140) which are provided so as to form outer covers which sequentially surround the central conductor (110), wherein the insulator (120) is configured as a hollow body having a band-shaped projecting rib (121) which is spirally wound on the inner wall thereof along the longitudinal direction, and wherein the projecting rib (121) supports the central conductor (110) so that the central conductor (110) floats at the central portion of the hollow insulator (120), thereby forming a space part having a spiral air tube between the central conductor (110), the insulator (120) and the projecting rib (121). |
