The invention relates to a control arrangement for safety-relevant actuators (A) having a control device (µC) which is implemented in a first integrated circuit module (1), a second integrated circuit module (2) having switching elements (SE) for controllably connecting the actuators (A) to a supply voltage (VS), and a third integrated circuit module (3) which has a first monitoring unit (MU1) for monitoring the functional capability of the control device (µC) and is connected to the first integrated circuit module (1) and the second integrated circuit module (2) via respective reset lines (Reset). The second integrated circuit module (2) has a second monitoring unit (MU2) which is configured to communicate with the control device (µC) via a communication channel (SPI) between the first integrated circuit module (1) and the second integrated circuit module (2), and to check the functional capability of the control device (µC) by means of a communication protocol, and which is configured to deactivate the switching elements (SE) if a malfunction of the control device (µC) is detected. |
