The present invention relates to a device and a method for predicting the collapse symptoms of a slope by using a GPS. The method includes the following steps: driving piles onto measurement points on the slope surface with risk of an accident; installing a GPS receiver onto a pile of a specific one of the measurement points; interconnecting sensing wires between the piles to transmit signals related to the length change of the sensing wire of the opposite pile and GPS location information of the pile on the specific measurement point measured at each predetermined period to a controller and a user terminal; and enabling the controller and the user terminal to predict the collapse symptoms of the slope. |
