PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment dispersion having excellent dispersion stability of a pigment and high productivity even when a fine pigment is used or pigment concentration is high.SOLUTION: The pigment dispersion comprises at least: a pigment (A); a reaction product of a polymer (B) having a primary, secondary or tertiary amino group and a low molecular weight compound (C) represented by general formula (3) that is reactive with an amino group; and a dispersion medium (D). A proportion of the total number of functional groups that react with an amino group in the low molecular weight compound (C) with respect to the total number of amino groups in the polymer (B) is 10 to 70%.
