PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode active material including a lithium metal complex oxide high in nickel content, which can keep a humidity resistance over a long period of time.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a positive electrode active material which comprises: core particles including, as a primary component, a lithium metal complex oxide expressed by the general formula LiNiMMO(where 0.90≤x≤1.50, 0.6≤y≤1.0, 0≤z≤0.02, Mis at least one element selected from a group consisting of Co, Mn and Al, and Mis at least one element selected from a group consisting of Zr, Ti, Mg, B and W), and a water-soluble lithium compound accounting for 1.0% or less on a mass ratio basis; and a surface-processed part arranged by processing each core particle with a coupling agent. |
