PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a therapeutic method for pulmonary hypertension and to provide a related kit.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a pharmaceutical formulation for treating pulmonary hypertension in a human using a pressurized metered dose inhaler, which contains treprostinil or an acid derivative thereof or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and which is used to deliver the treprostinil or an acid derivative thereof or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof with a pulsed ultrasonic nebulizer, the pharmaceutical formulation being a solution. The concentration of treprostinil or an acid derivative thereof or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof in the solution is in the range of 500 to 2500 μg/ml. The acid derivative is selected from a C-alkyl ester and amide of treprostinil (in the amide, nitrogen is optionally substituted by one or two C-4 alkyl groups).
