PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge device having a simple structure and stably electrically connecting a liquid storage container and a liquid discharge head.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device includes a liquid discharge head 1 and a liquid storage container 3. The liquid storage container 3 has a contact point base plate 6 provided on a surface 3a to be a liquid discharge head side when attaching to the liquid discharge head 1. The liquid discharge head 1 has a connector 12 provided in a position facing the contact point base plate 6 of the attached liquid storage container 3, and a connection base plate 4 electrically connected to the connector 12. The connector 12 has a contact point spring 13 whose tip 13a contacts the contact point base plate 6 of the liquid storage container 3, and whose rear end contacts the connection base plate 4, and the surface 3a of the liquid storage container 3 inclines to the axial direction of the contact point spring 13 so as to displace the tip 13a of the contact point spring 13 along the surface of the contact point base plate 6 while being brought into contact with the contact point base plate 6.
