Provided is a movement detection method, a movement detection program and a terminal device capable of detecting shivering that has a high probability of being pertinent to health. The movement detection method is performed by a computer (200) by obtaining, from a terminal device (100), a number of paces and a number of shivers based on detected values from an acceleration sensor (14), and the time periods during which the number of paces and number of shivers were detected. The movement detection method also involves the computer (200) performing a step of determining whether or not, between the time periods during which the number of paces exceeded a predetermined number and the time periods during which the number of paces was less than or equal to the predetermined number, whether or not the number of shivers that occurred during the time periods during which the number of paces was less than or equal to the predetermined number exceeded a threshold value. The movement detection method also involves the computer (200) performing a step of generating information based on the number of shivers when, as a result of the determination, the number of shivers exceeds the threshold value, and notifying the terminal device (100) of the generated information. |
