PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording method capable of providing high quality images without any bleeding or density unevenness even when recording at high speed by using a liquid composition after long-term storage.SOLUTION: There is provided an image recording method having a process of adding an ink containing a pigment to recording media, and a process of adding a liquid composition containing organic acid to the recording media of which at least a part overlaps with an area added the ink. The content of organic acid in the liquid composition (mass%) is 10 mass% or more based on the total amount of the liquid composition, the content of the organic solvent in the liquid composition (mass%) is 5 mass% or more based on the total amount of the liquid composition and the content of the organic solvent having a hydroxyl group in the liquid composition (mass%) is 4 mass% or less based on the total amount of the liquid composition. |
