PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake apparatus capable of efficiently removing, despite its small size, floating matter near the water surface, and easy to clean inside thereof.SOLUTION: A water intake apparatus 34 is provided with an intake part 42 positioned in water. The intake part 42 includes: a trunk cylinder 46 in a cylindrical shape fixed in water and vertically extending; an upper cylinder 48 in a thin cylindrical shape detachably fitted to the trunk cylinder 46 from above; and a float 50 fixed inside the upper cylinder 48, the upper end of the float being positioned lower than the upper end of the upper cylinder 48. By the float 50, according to the water level change inside the intake part 42, the upper cylinder 48 is allowed to vertically move fitted to the trunk cylinder 46. When water is discharged from the intake part 42, the upper cylinder 48 moves downward as the water level inside the intake part 42 goes down, water flows into the intake part 42 from the upper side of the upper cylinder 48. |
