A food product analysis device (1) is provided with a memory unit for storing a food product database containing food product information including characteristic information including at least one of first absorption information which relates to absorption of near infrared light and ingredient information which relates to the ingredients of food products, and type information which relates to types of food products. The food product analysis device (1) is also provided with an analysis unit for matching measured information, which is characteristic information obtained on the basis of the results of measurements using near infrared light, with information in the food product database. |
