[Solution] An image analysis device (1) is provided with: a distribution data generation unit (3) for generating distribution data indicating the infrared-band light intensity distribution of biological tissue (BT) on the basis of a sample image obtained by irradiating the tissue with infrared-band light; a derivative calculation unit (4) for using the distribution data to calculate, for each sample image area, Nth order derivatives, where N is an integer greater than or equal to 2, for the light intensity distribution in a first infrared wavelength band; and an image data generation unit (5) for converting the Nth order derivatives into gradation values and generating image data.
