The invention describes an expansion, absorption and compression device (1) for sorption machines, which comprises: an inlet cavity (2) that has an inlet (3) for coolant in vapour phase and a convergent inlet nozzle (4) for concentrated solution; a mixing throat (5) contiguous with the inlet cavity and coaxial with the convergent nozzle (4), which has a passage area smaller than that of the inlet cavity (2); and a diffuser (6) contiguous with the throat (5), which comprises a first portion (6a) with an increasing passage area and a second portion (6b) with a passage area greater than the passage area of the throat (5). Furthermore, this device (1) makes it possible to control the flow of concentrated solution emitted by the convergent nozzle (4) by opening and closing, alternately and fully, the outlet end thereof. |
