The present invention relates to an unmanned aerial vehicle protecting device and a method thereof to sense and dodge an obstacle. The unmanned aerial vehicle protecting device of the present invention is capable of installing an unmanned aerial vehicle with multiple propellers in the upper part, including multiple protecting covers to protect each of the propellers, sensing whether there is an obstacle in a flight direction of the unmanned aerial vehicle by using a sensor module including a variety of sensors, and automatically switching the flight direction of the unmanned aerial vehicle to the opposite direction when sensing the obstacle. The unmanned aerial vehicle protecting device absorbs a noise by the rotation of the propellers by attaching a sound absorption member to the inner surface of the protecting cover. According to the present invention, since the flight direction is automatically switched by sensing a variety of obstacles during the flight of the unmanned aerial vehicle, damage to the unmanned aerial vehicle is prevented by preventing a collision against the obstacles, and noise pollution is minimized through the sound absorption member of the protecting cover. |
