PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide aqueous ink for inkjet recording containing self-dispersible pigment, excellent in redispersibility and obtainable of high optical density (OD value).SOLUTION: This aqueous ink for inkjet recording includes colorant, water and a water-soluble organic solvent, where the colorant contains a self-dispersible pigment modified with a phosphate group, the aqueous ink further contains a chelating agent and at least either of a cationic polymer and a basic amino acid. |
