Described is a hybrid packing for protecting a device of the household appliance type during the manipulation and storage thereof, which comprises: a substantially rectangular-shaped base made of EPS or any other similar material and specifically designed for housing the lower portion of said device; each corner of the base includes a moulded corner reinforcement which upper portion includes at least a coupling protrusion; a substantially rectangular-shaped cap made of EPS or any other similar material and specially designed to house the upper portion of said device; each corner of the cap includes a moulded corner reinforcement which lower portion includes at least a coupling protrusion; four corner posts are made of laminated paper rolled in a tubular form with a geometry specifically conceived to externally match the geometry of the device corners; said corner posts are extended from the base to the cap for being matched and coupled to the corner reinforcements of the same; where t he coupling of the corner posts to the base and cap, for forming the packing, was carried out by an adjustment by friction between the coupling protrusions formed in each of the corner reinforcements of the base and the cap and the inner portion of at least one tubular section formed lengthwise each of the corner posts, where said coupling protrusion has a predetermined geometry coincident with the inner geometry of the tubular section, so that when the packing is assembled, the coupling protrusion, of each one of the corner reinforcements of the base and the cap, is inserted in a tight manner within the tubular section of each corresponding corner post. |
