The invention relates to a height-adjustable deflecting device for the top retaining point (23) of a three-point seatbelt (2), comprising a holder (4) that can be attached to a supporting element (9) of a vehicle seat (1) or can be connected to a frame of a vehicle in a rigid manner. A housing (24) is movably attached in the holder (4). The housing has a pivoting axis (11), and a roller (12) with a rotational axis (13) is additionally arranged in said housing. The belt strap (29) of a three-point seatbelt (2) can be guided by means of the roller, and the housing also has an outlet slot (15) for the belt strap (29). First connecting means (7) are formed on the holder (4), and second connecting means (17) are formed on the housing (24). In a locked position the connecting means are engaged with each other in a form-fitting manner, and in an adjusting position the connecting means and are not engaged with each other.
