<p>A lamp comprising electric contact members (9,10) at the outside of the lamp for making contact with corresponding electric contact elements (21,22) in a lamp holder surrounding the lamp. The light radiation of the lamp is emitted from the front side (2) of the lamp, which front side (2) is substantially located in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the lamp.
