<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that there is a possibility of degradation of usability of rapidly resuming image recording for a user when a start of the image recording is delayed by times of capping processing and cap-out processing. <P>SOLUTION: When the image recording on one paper sheet P is finished or cap-out is carried out, a timer counter 95 starts to count a time. When a paper feed tray 15 is moved within 10 seconds, a start time of capping is set after 60 seconds.
