<p>In order to perform feedback control of the conveyance amount of a recording medium more accurately, the image-forming apparatus (1) is provided with: an endless belt (21); conveyance rollers (23, 24) that support the endless belt (21) so that a portion of the endless belt (21) forms a level surface; a roller driving source (231), which rotates the conveyance roller (23) to circulate the endless belt (21); a belt-engaging part (743), which is provided to travel back and forth freely between an initial position and a specified position on the portion of the endless belt (21) that has become level and which is placed on the level surface of the endless belt (21); a sensor unit (75), which detects the magnitude of movement of the belt-engaging part (743), which moves as a result of the conveyance of the recording medium (P); and a control unit (9), which operates the roller driving source (231) so that the recording medium (P) conveyance amount equals the specified conveyance amount, calculates the error between the specified conveyance amount and the magnitude of movement, determines whether or not the error is within a specified error range, and controls the action of the roller driving source (231) so that the error is within the specified error range.</p> |
