The present invention provides a Korean character input method which can enable a consonant of a consonant key to be input when the consonant key among multiple consonant keys displayed on a touchscreen is touched and a predetermined vowel to be input by an external consonant key gesture continued while the consonant key is touched. The method can be used to distinguish the external consonant key gesture by using the maximum slope, maximum variation of the slope, and outside locus starting point of the trajectory of the external consonant key gesture. The present invention can recognize the gesture a user intends and the intention thereof more accurately and increase the degree of freedom regarding the user taking the external consonant key gesture, thereby reducing a typo rate and increasing the input speed. |
