<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination control device, human detection sensor, and illumination control method, which exert appropriate illumination control based on the position and behavior contents of a person relating to observation.SOLUTION: According to the embodiment, an illumination control device controls an illumination device that illuminates an area by using a human detection sensor, which acquires information about the position and behavior of a person relating to observation, and includes means for holding required quantity of light, means for calculating an amount of luminance control, and illumination device control means. The means for holding a required quantity of light holds information about a required quantity of light, which corresponds to information about the contents of behavior of person, set in advance, in each of areas of different types. The means for calculating illumination control acquires, on the basis of the held information about the required quantity of light, a required quantity of light, which corresponds to the information about the contents of the behavior of the person in an area type corresponding to the position information of the person, acquired by the human detection sensor. The means for calculating illumination control calculates an amount of illumination control of the illumination device so that a place indicated by the position information of the person satisfies the required quantity of light. The means for controlling the illumination device controls the illumination device on the basis of the calculated amount of illumination control.</p> |
