A three-dimensional image display device comprises: a display unit which has N x M pixels arranged in M rows and N columns, displays kn viewpoint images, and includes dots implementing an image having colors through L primary colors; a viewpoint formation unit which includes L viewpoint formation elements arranged in a row direction, and separates the kn viewpoint images at different angles from each other and projects the same onto corresponding viewing zones. The pitch (P) in the row direction of each viewpoint formation element satisfies an equation of O<P<=(N*Wh)/L, wherein Wh is the width in the row direction of each pixel. |
