<p>Disclosed is printing paper which has high whiteness degree and high opacity at the same time. Specifically disclosed is printing paper which contains one or more of colorants selected from the group consisting of purple pigments, purple dyes, blue pigments and blue dyes, and has a opacity of not less than 85%. The printing paper has an a* value of 0 or more but less than 7 and a b* value of -15 or more but less than -3 as determined by a measurement in accordance with JIS P 8150 including ultraviolet light.</p> |
