<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent steps required to change the cant of a rail track from increasing while avoiding large change of a rail level between before and after the change of the cant.SOLUTION: Normal tie-plates 18 installed on existing sleepers 12 are exchanged with special tie-plates 28 for cant-changing and rails 16 are temporarily fixed thereon. The special tie-plates 28 for cant-changing have a shape for setting a planned cant to the rails 16 by combination with the existing sleepers 12, thus at this point, imparting the changed cant to the rails 16. Subsequently, the existing sleepers 12 and the special tie-plates 28 for cant-changing are exchanged with new sleepers 30 and the normal tie-plates 18. The new sleepers 30 are set to have more gentle inclination than the existing sleepers 12, and have an inclination angle for setting the planned cant to the rails 16 by fixing the rails 16 by using the normal tie-plates 18.</p> |
