<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a secondary battery cathode-active material precursor which is useful as a secondary battery cathode-active material having a high charge/discharge capacity and is based on a new olivine-type silicate compound and to provide a secondary battery having a cathode containing the secondary battery cathode-active material to be obtained by the method for producing the secondary battery cathode-active material precursor.SOLUTION: The method for producing the secondary battery cathode-active material precursor containing the olivine-type silicate compound including a transition metal M (M is Fe, Ni, Co, Al, Zn, Mn, V or Zr) comprises a step of subjecting a mixture, which includes a lithium-containing compound, a transition metal compound, a silicate compound and a surfactant selected from anionic surfactants and amphoteric surfactants, to a hydrothermal reaction.</p> |
