<p>A system for displaying an image is disclosed. A user input subsystem (1) is arranged for enabling a user to indicate at least one point of a region of interest of an image (5). A zoom subsystem (2) is arranged for performing a zoom-in operation by filling a viewport with successively smaller portions of the image (5), wherein the successively smaller portions are selected such that the region of interest is shown at a decreasing distance from a center of the viewport. The user input subsystem (1) is arranged for enabling the user to control the zoom-in operation by indicating, after the viewport has been filled with one or more of the successively smaller portions of the image, whether further zooming is desired for the, already indicated, at least one point of a region of interest.</p> |
