The invention relates to a security document comprising a security element which is verifiable using microwave radiation, a method for producing the same, a verification method, and a device for verifying such a security document. A security document comprising a document body of planar design is provided, said document body having a top side and an opposite underside and a conductive elongated element of wavy design being arranged on or in said document body, wherein the elongated element has wavy deflections oriented transversely with respect to a longitudinal extension direction of the elongated element and transversely with respect to the planar extent of the document body. For the purpose of verification, a linearly polarised microwave radiation is introduced, which is scattered by the elongated conductive element of wavy design given suitable frequency and direction of incidence and direction of polarisation relative to said element. The detected microwave scattering is used for verifying the security document. |
