The present invention relates to a method for displaying weather information on an electronic device. The method includes the steps of: receiving multiple pieces of weather information regarding each of multiple points; outputting a first point among the points through a display of the electronic device; obtaining first weather information corresponding to the first point from the multiple pieces of the weather information to output a first weather object corresponding to the first weather information through the display; selecting a second point having weather information different from the first weather information among the points; outputting the selected second point through the display; and outputting a second weather object corresponding to second weather information by obtaining the second weather information corresponding to the selected second point through the display.
