According to the present invention, an apparatus for bonding a cover glass to achieve the technical problem of the present invention comprises: a panel jig for supporting the lower surface of a display panel having a bonding resin is formed on the upper surface thereof; a cover jig which is installed at an upper side of the panel jig, adsorbs the upper surface of the cover glass and supports the same, and pressurizes the cover glass downwards; a pre-hardening irradiation unit which is installed in the cover jig, and pre-hardens the bonding resin by irradiating the inner boundary surface of a black matrix pattern in the cover glass with ultraviolet rays; a mask unit which is installed in the cover jig to have a rectangular shape, and masks so that the ultraviolet rays are irradiated only through a small gap formed on the inner side of the boundary surface of the black matrix pattern in the cover glass by the ultraviolet rays irradiated from the pre-hardening irradiation unit; and a side hardening irradiation unit which is installed at a side lower portion of the panel jig, and hardens the bonding resin flowing out to the outside by irradiating the lateral cross section of the display panel with ultraviolet rays. At least one portion among rectangular-shaped edge portions in the mask unit is chamfered. |
