The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a traditional gourd craft. The method for manufacturing a traditional gourd craft comprises: a gourd cutting step of making an external shape of a craft by cutting a gourd to form an inlet; a gourd stuffing removal step of removing stuffing of the gourd by digging the stuffing on the inside of the gourd through the inlet; a gourd boiling step of putting the gourd without the stuffing in water and boiling the same; a gourd skin removal step of peeling off the skin of the boiled gourd; a gourd drying step of drying the gourd without the skin; a gourd inside finishing step of finishing the inside of the gourd by applying a hemp cloth on the inside of the dried gourd by using lacquer, and then coating the surface of the hemp cloth with lacquer; a first decoration step of decorating the inlet part by attaching a first ornament made by twisting hemp threads or rushes to the outer upper side of the gourd, where the inlet is formed, with lacquer; and a second decoration step of decorating the gourd by attaching a second ornament to the outer surface of the gourd, where the first ornament is not decorated, with lacquer. |
