The present invention relates to a twin cylinder positive displacement pump capable of easily detecting damage to a drive shaft by: connecting a cylinder housing with a gear box by a connection finishing plate; connecting the shaft of a motor with the drive shaft by a coupling; and exposing the drive shaft to the outside between the gear box and the cylinder housing. In the twin cylinder positive displacement pump according to the present invention, a motor (20) and a gear box (30) are respectively mounted on a base (10), a cylinder housing (40) is connected with the gear box (30) by a connection finishing plate (50), an upper rotor (60) and a lower rotor (65) are respectively arranged inside the cylinder housing (40); the shaft (21) of the motor (20) and a drive shaft (70) are connected by a coupling (25), the drive shaft (70) is arranged in the upper capacitive room (41) of the cylinder housing (40) through the gear box (30) and is exposed to the outside between the gear box (30) and the cylinder housing (40), the upper rotor (60) is inserted into the drive shaft (70) arranged in the upper capacitive room (41) of the cylinder housing (40), an upper gear (42) arranged in the gear box (30) is inserted into the drive shaft (70), a lower gear (43) is interlocked with the upper gear (32), the lower gear (43) is inserted into a driven shaft (75), the lower rotor (65) arranged in the lower capacitive room (43) of the cylinder housing (40) is mounted on the driven shaft (75), and the upper rotor (60) and the lower rotor (65) are connected with a barrier (65). |
