Apparatus 10 for retaining receptacles, comprising: a vertical column 12 having a central axis 14; a first mounting plate 20 configured to locate on the column 12 and to rotate about the central axis 14 of the column 12; and a second mounting plate 30 configured to locate on the column 12 and to rotate about the central axis 14 of the column 12, each of the first mounting plate 20 and the second mounting plate 30 being configured to retain at least one receptacle 40. The mounting plates may be separated by spacers (70) and may include apertures (52) in order that the lower plate may be accessed from above. A dispenser system may be included to fill the receptacles and it may be computer controlled.
