<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of an actuator due to radiation heat from a heat source. <P>SOLUTION: A supercharger includes: a supercharger body in which a compressor housing and a turbine housing are integrated; a turbine shaft rotatably supported by the supercharger body, provided with a turbine impeller housed in the turbine housing at one end and a compressor impeller housed in the compressor housing at the other end; an actuator 20 having an actuation part 22 actuated in response to a pressure of a fluid compressed at the compressor housing and bypassing the fluid led to the turbine impeller accompanying the actuation of the actuation part; and a heat shield member 30 provided between the actuation part and an engine in a connected state to the engine and shielding the heat transmission from the engine to the actuation part.
