<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that although further enlargement of an effective cross-section area is required to reduce a nonlinear phenomenon generated in an optical fiber, the vast enlargement of the effective cross-sectional area is difficult even when a conventional photonic crystal fiber is used.SOLUTION: In an optical fiber arranged in a triangular lattice shape around a core area and having a plurality of uniform holes in a longitudinal direction of the optical fiber, An area obtained by removing seven holes in the center of triangular lattice arrangement is the core area, and the number of layers of holes around the core area is 4-7.
