In the present invention, provided is a tip protector for a retractable fishing rod. A tip protector according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a tube-shaped body; a rib integrated in the inner surface of the tube-shaped body; a slit punched through the tube-shaped body at the front of the rib. The front end of the fishing rod is inserted into the tube-shaped body through an insertion hole in the rear end of the tube-shaped body. The rib includes a guide passage groove which allows a part of a guide of the fishing rod to pass but makes the other part thereof caught thereby. The guide passage groove extends in a length direction of the tube-shaped body and has a width tapered toward the front end of the tube-shaped body. The slit has a width, which is greater than the width of the front end of the guide passage groove. |
