<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sludge scraper which is installed in a sedimentation basin having a structure with a lower end portion located under a water surface, scrapes up sludge settling down on a basin bottom part by flight plates extending in the basin width direction and can maintain appropriate tension even when an endless chain is stretched while suppressing cost. <P>SOLUTION: The sludge scraper includes: the endless chain 11 which is mounted with the plurality of flight plates 12 at intervals and travels on a circulating track including a scraping track T1 along the basin bottom part 1d and a passing track T2 extending from the scraping track T1 toward the water surface W side through a section near the structure such as a trough 32; and a protection rail 18 extending between the passing track T2 and the structure in an intersection direction intersecting with the basin width direction and preventing the flight plates 12 from coming into contact with the structure. The protection rail 18 comes into contact with the flight plates 12 mounted to the endless chain 11 from the outer side of the circulating track and extends toward the inner side of the circulating track to apply tension to the endless chain 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
