<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect with a client computer system of which failure has been reported, without an error. <P>SOLUTION: A remote operation support system compares a client management division and a name of a person in charge of a client included in issue information which is reported by a telephone, a facsimile machine, or an electronic mail from the client and is stored in databases 301 to 303, with a client management division and a name of a person in charge of the client extracted from a client information database 304 by using a telephone number or a facsimile number extracted from the issue information as a key.
